Onye & The Messengers will bring their distinctive and electrifying Afrobeat & global grooves to the 2025 WinterBlast at SOFA Art District (performance at the Café Frida Gallery).
WinterBlast is an all inclusive kick-off to the Holiday Season. The SofA parades were started by the local artists in the district as a fun way to utilize the neighborhood name, South of A Street (SofA), and bring attention to an overlooked area of town. The parades and the event that has developed around them, has grown into a beloved Santa Rosa festival.
Everyone is invited to participate, whether by being a spectator, dressing up, or building a lighted up sofa on wheels to push through the streets. Visitors are invited into the many artists’ open studios from 3-5 pm and encouraged to enjoy the multiple offerings of food and beverages.
